Nikon D300s Overview
Nikon D300s was introduced as a continuation of Nikon D300 with many of the additions on 30 July 2009. It has been tested by a lot of amateur and professional photographers, taking really good reviews.
I am using Nikon D300s as my main camera for 2 years and I certainly recommend it. Nikon D300s has hundreds of features but this is an overview article. So here are some key features briefly.
Nikon D300s Key Features
- 13.1mp DX-CMOS sensor
- 720p High Definiton (HD) video
- 3.0″ (920,000 dots) LCD monitor
- 14bit RAW,
- Active D Lighting
- Image sensor (shake) cleaning
- 51 points AF with 3D tracking by color

If you need higher continuous frame rate (like sports), nikon D300s is the best choice for you. With MB D10 battery pack, it shoots at more higher speeds up to 8fps. This is an incredible speed! Plus, Nikon D300s takes 5000 images until next charge, with MB D10 battery pack. Another thing related to speed is 51 points AF with 3D tracking; We are guaranteed to have our subject in focus with it.
Easy usage; We can manually adjust our settings “easily“. If you want to try different shutter speeds, ISO, f-stops, aperture DOF, focus, and light, Nikon D300s is the best camera, because you can easily adjust all these settings with this camera. Moreover, this gives us the opportunity to learn photography. So Nikon D300s is the best dslr camera for both beginners as well as professionals.
You can take very high-quality videos with HD video capability. And you can directly watch these videos on your TV through the camera‘s HDMI output. This is really great, as it will save you a lot of time and energy.
As a result, nikon D300s is the best dslr camera I have ever used. I strongly recommend it to both beginners and professionals.
